Artist Bio:
RWB formed as a spin-off of what was known as the "School of Rock,"
a 10-16 year old 7-piece band put together in July of 2005 by local
radio mc's Lewis and Floorwax of 103.5 The Fox. After a few months
together, many members of the band went their seperate ways. However,
drummer Jeff Jani, bassist Hunter Roberts, and guitar player/singer
Tony Pacello stayed together, and in January of 2006, they played their
first show together as the solid blues/rock/jam band trio they move
forward as today.
Since then RWB has been playing
throughout Colorado, including recording sessions, blues festivals,
motorcycle rallies, and opening for national acts such as CCR and Joe
Bonamassa. Jeff Jani and Hunter Roberts had known and played music
with each other before RWB was formed, causing the band to have a
tight, very together rythm. Tony Pacello and the other two
clicked when put together as strangers, and the three have
been inventing since the beginning. The style of music they create is
always evolving, fusing blues, rock, funk and jazz into a "jam band"
feeling with its own unique sound. Inspirations include Derek Trucks,
Gov't Mule, Dave Matthews, John Mayer, Jaco Pastorius, John Butler
Trio, Victor Wooten, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan and many others
of all genres.
RWB is still creating in studio,
although no CD's have been publicly released yet. The three members
play together for the love and feel of music, and they desire to
capture a live and always unique sound each time they perform, whether
it be live or in studio. RWB would like to thank all of its fans and
supporters who have been behind the band throughout its career. http://www.runninwildband.com/main.html?src=%2F#2,0
