Cirrus Minor is from the small Texas town of Sweeny. However, our music is not what you might expect from a small Texas town band. We have been told that we sound a little like Rush, Coheed and Cambria, Pink Floyd, and a few other progressive rock bands rolled into one.

We all share a love for unconventional music and meaningful lyrics. You won't find any "verse-chorus-verse-bridge-chorus" cookie cutter style songs if you listen to our music. That doesn't mean the music is hard to listen to however. You can still tap your foot or bang your head to it, whichever you prefer.

Although you probably won't find us playing at dance clubs, we do get into the local areas and play at festival style shows. We are constantly creating new music and have been known to do a cover song or two. Give the songs we've recorded so far a listen and give us a call if you would like us to play at your show. We have choreographed lighting with our music. We also have a PA system and can handle small venues up to about 150 people. We occasionally throw a show ouselves and welcome other acts to perform with us. Give us a call if you are interested.
