Artist Bio:

Chilly Moon started because there were five people that wanted to get down to business and start putting their creative powers to work. The band formed in February of 2006 and has been going hard ever since. It was a matter of Isayah Warfard and Jared Dunn wanting to complete the band that they wanted in their minds. After searching the town for the right musicians with the right attitude, it all came together. Since each member had played with bands in the area that really didn't reach the potential that they could, we all made it known that this project was going to be our baby and the most important thing on all of our muscial calendars. After only playing a handful of live shows in Fayetteville, AR and surrounding towns, the band was nominated for Ozark Music Awards' "Best New Band of the Year" and "Best Jam Band of the year". This was a huge honor to everyone in the band. Since the nominations, we have since been coming up with more funky original tunes to put on our new album. The band has too many influences to list, which is what makes us a unique and special sound. Although we label ourselves in the "funk" category, our music is fueled by many artists in many genres of music. Every member in Chilly Moon has played with and some are still playing with some of the oldest and most respected bands in the area. But, we figured it was time to get a new sound out there that was our own. We are currently working on our new CD and continuing to play as much as possible. Although we have been together a little under a year, we all know that our time is near. We are currently working on our first album and hope to have it out by Summer/o7.
